DELTA_717_N935AT_ATL_1013ZT_JP_small1.jpgI am pleased to share with you this once in a lifetime photo showcasing Delta's entire McDonnell Douglas narrow-body fleet, which includes: 717 (MD95), DC9-50, MD88, MD90. A tremendous amount of logistics and manpower went into making this photo a reality, in addition to the fact that the minute the photo shoot ended, 3 of the 4 airplanes were immediately towed to the terminal for their next flight assignments. I was honored to be invited to photograph this event, thank you Delta Air Lines!

DELTA_757-200_N608DA_ATL_414_AAZZZJ_JP_BWMAIN_small1.jpgThis photo is very special. The 757 makes one final stop at Woolman Place (note the green sign. C.E. Woolman was the founder of Delta) before proceeding to rest for its remaining years in the museum. Seen on the left is the DC9-50, which has already made the street crossing

DELTA_757-200_N608DA_ATL_414ZI_JP_small1~0.jpgMy favorite shot of the 757/DC9 move to the museum photo shoot is this one as the sun was coming up early in the morning, the light conditions were just perfect and the FLY DELTA JETS sign and tower were still very much standing out

DELTA_DC9-50_N675MC_ATL_414A_JP_small.jpgPhotographed during the last night this DC9 will ever spend on an airport ramp. In the morning, it will be moved to the Delta museum where it will be placed on 3 concrete pads in the grass as an exhibit

SUNJETINTL_DC9_EWR_1096_JP_small.jpgNot a high quality photo, but one worthy of sharing. Sunjet Int'l DC9 takes off on runway 4L @ Newark with the beautiful towers looking on. This photo was taken 5 years and one month before 9/11/01.
