KOREAN_A380_HL7613_NRT_1011_JP_.jpgYou won't find this scene at any airports in the U.S. or Europe. Every departing flight in Japan is honored by the ground crew working that flight, waving slowly back and forth to the passengers as the airplane begins to taxi out, ending with a big bow before the crew heads back to their station. This is respect, culture and love of thy fellow man. I was honored and delighted to have witnessed this numerous times during my visit to Tokyo's airports

ltu_A320_D-ALTB_CFU_08_02B.jpgYou can rent our rooms in the pink house under the A320. My hotel is above the A320. It's a 45 minute walk to the spot i'm standing at to shoot this photo (it is a big field adjacent to the water and there are plenty of snakes!)

ei-ltamuc0306.jpgFormer ATA 757 rests in the most snow Munich has seen in years and figures that's the weekend I'm there! There were actually a total of 4 ATA 757s parked side by side, all with titles removed and about to be prepped by LTU Maintenance for service with VIM Airlines of Russia.
