This was an amazing flight that took us from Opa Locka Airport in Miami, up the coast to Palm Beach, then U-turn down to Biscayne Bay and then up again back t Opa Locka. Reason is because if the airplane performs the turn to gate on its own power, the adjoining gates' equipment and people can get blasted by the engines' turbulence as power is applied to make the turn. Tow-on-only gates are common at many big airports for this important safety reason
